We invest across the real-money gaming landscape: sports betting, iGaming, data & infrastructure, betting tools, user acquisition tech, and adjacent verticals (e.g. responsible gaming, analytics, B2B SaaS, etc). We're region and vertical agnostic.
What stage does BettingStartups Capital invest in?
Pre-seed and seed. We're often the first check into a company, especially for founders coming out of stealth or just shipping their v1.
What size checks do you write?
Typically $100–$250k, but we're flexible depending on round structure and level of conviction around the opportunity.
Do you lead rounds or follow?
We're comfortable doing either. If we lead, we'll set terms and work with you to fill out the round. If we follow, we move fast and play well with others.
What do you look for in a founder or team?
Clarity of thought, domain obsession, speed of execution, humility, and ideally a unique insight or unfair advantage in the space. Prior founder/operator experience is a plus but not required.
