Handigraphs is rolling out a major product update ahead of the MLB season, BettingStartups can exclusively report, adding a suite of AI-powered features and new data integrations as it looks to build on early momentum from its first year in market.
The sports data platform has introduced several new tools, including GameCenter and EdgeCenter—two hubs designed to surface matchup breakdowns, betting insights, and “edge” opportunities across the slate—alongside Ask Handigraphs, an always-on AI agent that allows users to query the platform’s data directly. The update also includes an odds integration with OddsLogic, plus new features like customizable “Angles,” trends toggles, real-time weather and ballpark data, and expanded filtering capabilities.
The centerpiece of the release is Ask Handigraphs, which CEO and co-founder CJ Buskey told BettingStartups is “going to become a foundational piece of the entire Handigraphs suite.” The tool effectively replaces a workflow many early users relied on—exporting data into tools like ChatGPT or Claude—by enabling natural language queries directly within the platform. “You want to know who has the best metrics over their last 10 games to hit a home run? Ask Handigraphs. Compare trends in splits for a pitcher’s strikeout rate to walk rate over the course of the season? Ask Handigraphs,” Buskey said.

The push toward embedded AI comes alongside steady user growth. Since launching last July, Handigraphs has seen a 52% increase in subscriptions, while keeping churn below 10%. The platform is also seeing strong engagement, with roughly 70,000 to 80,000 queries run against its data each month, alongside a 300% increase in social mentions as its creator and affiliate network expands.
That evolution marks a step forward from where the company started. When co-founder Adam Rosenberg joined the BettingStartups Podcast last October, he described Handigraphs as a side project built to make baseball data less intimidating. Today, the product is expanding beyond organization into interpretation—something Rosenberg believes will broaden its appeal. “We want to be useful for bettors at every level—whether you’re just getting started or you’ve been doing this for years,” he told BettingStartups, adding that “our proprietary data combined with these new features is also going to resonate with DFS and fantasy players in a big way.”
The company’s broader strategy reflects a changing landscape for betting tools, where access to data is no longer the primary differentiator. “You can’t just be a static table of stats and filters anymore, you need to have ways to guide bettors and users to understand what they’re researching and develop strategies to win more in the long-term,” Buskey said.
For Handigraphs, that means leaning into personalization and agent-driven workflows to make the product feel less like a dashboard and more like an assistant. As the platform heads into its first full MLB season with complete support for both hitters and pitchers, the focus is shifting from proving the concept to scaling it—turning early traction into a more durable position in an increasingly crowded market.
